Featured event: “2019 Michigan Diabetes Research Center Annual Symposium and Ray A. and Robert L. Kroc Lectureship in Diabetes”

NEW THIS YEAR: DATA BLITZ and POSTER AWARDS

All are invited to present a poster of your work in the area of diabetes, its complications, and related endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Ten data blitz participants will be selected from submitted abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday, February 6, 2019. During the data blitz you are allowed to present up to two slides and you will be given two minutes for your presentation. You will be notified by Monday, February 18, 2019 if you have been selected to participate in the data blitz. Your two slides must be turned in by Monday, February 25, 2019. Data blitz participants will receive a gift card.

Poster session winners (one graduate student and one fellow) will be awarded a round trip flight to attend the University of California San Francisco's Diabetes & Obesity Retreat from November 18 – 20, 2019 at the Chaminade Resort and Spa in Santa Cruz, California. Runner-up winners will receive a gift card.

Eligible participants for the data blitz and poster awards include graduate students and fellows.
